Sgraffito Coaster Workshop
Join us for a hands-on sgraffito workshop—this time, we're making coasters! In this 2-hour class, you'll design and carve two unique sgraffito coasters per ticket. Sgraffito is a decorative technique where a surface layer is carefully carved away creating striking patterns and textures.
Whether you're new to ceramics or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop is a unique opportunity to connect with clay in a fresh and meaningful way. All materials, including your clay, underglaze, and a variety of carving tools, will be provided.
We’ll start with a brief demo, then you’ll have the rest of the class to carve your pair of coasters—with guidance and support from our instructors throughout.
We’ll handle the firing process, and your finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–6 weeks.
This workshop runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before we begin. Space is limited to 22 participants!
