Make Your Own Ceramic Pet Bowls

Asch Building (825 Studewood St, Houston TX) in the Home division. This is the middle section (yellow room) of the store.

Workshop Description:

Come celebrate National Pet Day with us and hand build and decorate your own special, customized food and water bowls for your cat or dog-or any animal in your life! Decorate them with your pet’s name (or names, because we all know the evolution of pet nicknames) and any other imagery or surface decoration of your choosing. During this workshop your instructor will demonstrate the basic techniques necessary to hand build two small bowls from scratch. You will receive guidance on the construction of your piece and then be allowed creative freedom to make it your own. Everyone will be given 1lb of clay in slab form to construct your bowls with. Classes will be limited to a group of 20.

After this workshop we will fire your pieces in our kiln and glaze them with a color of your choice. All pieces will be completely food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.

Pikcup:

Pieces will be ready to pick up at our studio roughly four weeks after the date of this workshop. Due to the unpredictable nature of ceramics and the firing process we cannot provide an exact pickup date. You will receive a follow up email when your pieces have been fired in the kiln and are ready to pick up.
