This two hour workshop will be a combination of wheel throwing and decorating, so you can make a piece of your choice and then make it totally unique! Make matching mugs, a berry bowl, ring dish, to go cup- Come with ideas and we can show you how to make what you have in mind!

This workshop will begin with a brief demonstration of how to use the pottery wheel. After the demo, you will have the rest of the class time to make! You’ll use your first hour to create one piece of pottery, then spend the second hour decorating, painting, adding handles, stamping letters- Whatever your heart desires!

This will be a small group of eight, so you can expect individual attention and guidance throughout the workshop.

We will be using underglazes to decorate in this class, so afterwards your pieces will be clear glazed by us to add that water tight seal, and then fired in the kiln. All pieces will be totally food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. You may each choose one finished piece to keep and have us fire (so two total for each pair). We take very special care of each piece, so the firing process will take 6-8 weeks. You will receive an email when your pieces are out of the kiln and ready to pick up here at the studio.
