Coil Pitcher Workshop

$75.00

Join us for a beginner friendly Coil Pitcher Workshop! In this 2.5-hour class, you'll create your very own hand built ceramic coil pitcher - You can decide to make a pitcher, vase, or go with the flow and make decisions as you create. Whether you're new to ceramics or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop is a unique opportunity to connect with clay.

We’ll start with a brief 15-20 minute demo of building techniques and decoration ideas and then you will have the rest of the workshop to build! All materials, including 4lb of stoneware clay, and a variety of tools will be provided.

After shaping your pieces, you’ll be able to to add surface decoration and select from one of our studio glaze options for a final finish. Underglaze will not be offered in this workshop. All pieces will be finished with a single color glaze.

Your finished work will be ready for pickup in approximately 6-8 weeks. All pieces will be completely food safe and dishwasher safe.

This workshop takes place Thursday, March 19th from 6-8:30 PM and Sunday, March 29th from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before we begin. Space is limited to 10 participants—reserve your spot now and come ready to create!
